We spent two nights here as part of a week long road trip in Northern California. It was our base to visit local historic sites and state parks. The location is very convenient - right off the freeway. That brings pros and cons - super easy to get to, but constant traffic noise. It didn’t stop us sleeping though. Some reviewers have noted that the beds were hard. I wouldn’t agree really - I mean, they weren’t the absolute most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in but they weren’t noticeably uncomfortable either. The room was clean, bright, and spacious enough. The Smart TV had Netflix and we were able to connect easily to our own account. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great value for the cost.

We stayed two consecutive nights (February 8,9, 2026), traveled south to see family in Paradise, California, where we spent one night before returning to Best Western Twin View for one night (February 11). The staff made the stay all three nights feel like home. They were extremely friendly and helpful. If we needed something for our room or for our personal needs, they were immediately accommodating. The four with whom we dealt went out of their way to meet our needs. D, the manager, treated us as if we were family members that she hadn't seen in years. She has a bubbly personality that makes one feel welcome. She and I talked for a long time one evening after she got a cup of apple juice for me long after the breakfast bar was closed. You couldn't ask for a better representative for Best Western. Next, Julie greeted us the first day that we arrived. She, too, was extremely friendly and, seeing that we had a lot of gear to take to our second floor room, she helped by carrying some items for us. Joyce added to the wonderful experience. She was the night attendant on our first night. I asked if there were any fruit available in case I experienced low blood sugar during the night. She rounded up two bananas which I did use that night. She asked repeatedly if there was anything else I needed. Finally, after a day with family in Redding, when we returned to the hotel, I asked Emily, who was on duty the night of our third stay, if there were packets of hot chocolate. She said no, but led me to the machine that makes hot chocolate, opened it up, and accommodated me. She, too, did this quite willingly and with a smile. It wasn't a burden for her. She asked if there was anything else that she could get for me. When we departed for our long trip home to Eugene, Oregon, D expounded on how we were viewed as family at the hotel. Each of these ladies whom I mentioned made our stay most pleasant and are the utmost reason why we would stay again at this hotel. They are ultimate representatives of the Best Western brand. Sincerely, Ken and Gloria Wagner

We got to the hotel a little before 10pm and there was no one at the front desk. Waited a few minutes called the front desk a couple of times waiting for someone to show up. After she came to help us with our online reservation for a king bed. It was sold out so had to get a room with two queen size bed. The freeway was so loud from our room we thought our window was open but it was closed so we didn't sleep well with the traffic going by all night.

Loudest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Single pane windows make you feel like you are sleeping in the parking lot. Bed is very hard. The room was clean but beat up and staff nice.

Very Nice Hotel! Dee & Julie checked us in and were amazing! Super friendly and great to chat with. Also spoke with Emily on the phone multiple times about changes to our reservations. She was always pleasant and on top of answering questions and getting the changes taken care of. Thanks Ladies for a wonderful stay. We will be back.

Very nice room which must have been remodeled recently. The room and property were very clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. One of the better breakfast offerings I've seen at a BW. Parking was not an issue. Internet worked fine. Would not hesitate to stay here again if in the area.

The room was great, but the beds were way too hard for my family. Complimentary breakfast had a good spread. And they staff there was so awesome and very friendly!!!

Stayed one night on a short roadtrip to visit The Peanuts Museum on the way to Trees of Mystery. Check in was super easy and the clerk was very nice--i forgot her name. Breakfast was okay----eggs, cereal, oatmeal, toast. Room was very nice and clean and bathroom came with soap & shampoo. It was quiet. We will definitely stay here again & definitely recommend this place. Price was reasonably too.

My wife, kids, and I just completed a two night stay here during our vacation in Redding to hike the nearby waterfalls Burney and McCloud. The pros: The hotel is nice and has a great location right off the interstate. My kids enjoyed the swimming pool. The breakfast was good and the breakfast host was very friendly! The cons: ANTS!! Both nights, our room was horribly infested with ants everywhere. On the side table, the desk, both beds, and literally everywhere. The front desk staff offered us a spray bottle of cleaner and a rag to wipe down the surfaces to get rid of the ants both nights when we expressed our concerns. We spent both evenings trying to rid the ants enough to try to sleep peacefully. Room 133 desperately needs pest control! Overall, this Best Western has great potential, but the severe ant infestation and the lack of remedy offered from the front desk staff made our stay unenjoyable. We even wound up with ants in our clothing luggage!
