Guests praise Ramada Limited Redding for its spacious, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and friendly staff, noting that highway noise and construction during renovations are minor drawbacks. However, the property faces significant instability with rooms frequently under renovation, amenities often missing, and inconsistent cleanliness standards.
Travel I ng late at night last minute easy check in. Even tho at the moment under heavy remodel construction they kept it very clean and safe. Pool closed for remodel not much breakfast, taking all that in consideration it was a very nice stay and it will be a very nice place when completed. Bed was very comfortable highway noises barely noticeable
The location wasn't to far from the freeway. They have a deposit fee, it took 5 days to return it. The room was a bit smelly, the rugs was dirty, the chairs were also stained. There were a big rectangle hole on the wall, not sure what that was before, a microwave?... The bathroom was clean. It was quiet. People were friendly. The parking was right in front of our room, on the window side, not door. They provided breakfast. I don't really remember what they served , but we took waffles and some small apples. Their waffles was actually really good! I didn't have a hard time peeling the waffles out the waffle maker! They were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside.
Take heed when reviews say the "place is being remodeled." They mean you are likely to stay in a room that is currently being remodeled. The first room assigned to us did not lock. There were no appliances (fridge, microwave , etc.). The second so strongly smelled of paint that there was noway we could stay in it. The third we tried had appliances, but the AC was not working, and it was 80 degrees outside -- at night. The fourth room worked. Had the appropriate amenities and AC. It was 2 Queen beds instead of one King. I'm sure this place will be nice when finished. Until then, I suggest that you stay somewhere else.
Our room was beautiful and clean. The place smells clean and new. The bed was nice. The Hotel was peaceful and quiet. Unfortunately, there was no place close to bed to charge phones. No fan in the bathroom. The smoke detector would go off during showers. Unfinished hole in the wall, maybe for kleenex? The Hotel is In the middle of repairs and construction.
We were wowed when we opened the door to our room-very nice large room with fridge and microwave. Had a separate coffee bar area. Easy access off of the Interstate. They were working on refreshing some of the rooms, but it didn't bother us, as they kept quiet until a decent hour. Only slight complaint is that the breakfast didn't include any eggs or meats. They had waffles, breads, some whole fruits, yogurt, and juice. I would definitely stay here again.
Bonnie and Tia at the front desk are very nice and friendly. The king bed rooms are very nice, spacious, and clean. I am waiting for Shirley, the manager, to workout a credit since I had no hot water in my room. I was achy and needed to rest. She didn't not respond. The breakfast has nice options. This time it was make your own waffles. They have bagels, cream cheese, cereals, apple, oranges and breakfast bars. Coffees, teas, and orange juice. Thank you! (Shirley still has not responded to the issue I had) 4/3 & 4/9 (4/3 I booked a stay to enjoy the pool this time because I brought my swimsuit and it's closed for cleaning) The hotel is very comfortable if booked at reasonable price.
Checking in was a breeze with the help of Shirley, she was nice and kind. Stayed on the 3rd floor room 307. It faces the storage space but I didn’t bother me. After a 10-hour drive one just wants a cool, comfortable, safe place to stay and I have to say this place, did the job. Each room was equipped with a microwave, fridge and Tv. I was glad we were able to watch golf and Monday night football… Thought I would enjoy the pool but it looked a bit dirty and was too small for laps. Wish they converted the conference room into a gym instead. Anywho.. only here for the night, couldn’t complain much. They offer continental breakfast which wasn’t bad, I enjoyed the waffles! They have cereal, yogurt, fruits, bagels… its basically continental. They offer Dog Friendly rooms $20 per dog, per night
Hotel staff was friendly and helpful both the front desk staff and housekeeping. Our room was clean but dated looking, beds and chairs were very uncomfortable. The pool was filthy gray murky water it looked nothing like the sparkling clear pool shown on the website. The hot tub was out of order. Free breakfast was lackluster and very few options. Whoever owns this hotel needs to invest some money in their property. They have a great staff who deserve an updated property not to mention us travelers who are misled by the pictures on the website. Take some pride of ownership and update your property.
This place was horrible. Not only was there dead bugs in the hot tub, the community bathroom has a broken lock so you can't even have any privacy. The room shower had very little water pressure and the hot water was very limited, the TV had no sound. The premium continental breakfast has old Walmart warm yogurt that made my son sick. Their juice machine was out of order so they only options for your complimentary breakfast where stale bread some jelly, old cereal a jug of milk is on the counter for who knows how long. And then I heard the front desk lady tell somebody because they had a AAA discount they got their room for only $116. But as a veteran we ended up paying $137. So I guess you get a better discount if you just have a triple a card that anybody can get versus being a veteran. I had thought Ramada was decent but this was the worst experience of any hotel I've ever been into. The bed was a rock everyone in my family woke up with sore throats because the room was disgusting and full of dirt. When we turned on the AC unit it pushed out a cloud of dust. Stay away from this place.
