I’ve been fortunate enough to travel the country with my two dogs on multiple occasions and have frequented many Motel 6’s and this one is one of the best. Tiffany and her staff are friendly, attentive and thoughtful. During the extended amount of time that I spent there the rooms were clean, well maintained and the staff was always quick to ask if the room need any service and called my dogs by name. Despite being centrally located this motel 6 was quiet and relaxing. I can’t say enough nice things about the customer service and hospitality that I received from Tiffany and her entire team.

Horrible location. Stopped here as a midpoint between Washington and home in socal and there were people who looked like they were on drugs walking around at night when we arrived. Also, I paid 5 days prior for the room but when we arrived they charged us a deposit ($100) then charged us again for the room. (Another $75.67.) They claimed the money was going to be refunded but when she charged our card she specifically said the total was $100? Lol like? How do you accidentally double charge for a prepaid room? Anyways I have receipts and recorded the call, so I’ll be waiting for my refund. Also: when we checked in on the 27th around 8pm I specifically told the receptionist I paid online via booking.com because she said if I wanted to upgrade to two bed room that I’d have to request a refund from booking and then pay again for the room. I refused. So she knew fully well that I paid prior, therefore charging me $175 was not an accident. After looking deeper into this motel, yall have a bad reputation for theft. Yikes. Update: Jan 26, 2025 Also whoever was working the night of December 27th, 2025 should be investigated because my card information was stolen and used locally at a cinema. She was the older white woman. Thanks! Card was used on Jan 3rd for $40.

I wouldn’t stay here even if it was free. The place felt unsafe and borderline scary. People loitering on the property and nearby. It felt like a bad movie. The room itself was disgusting. The unit smelled like bleach which must have been masking the other scent—stale cigarettes. The mattress looked decrepit and was covered in stains. I pulled the sheets back to check for bed bugs and the concierge marked that as “using” the room and denied a refund. I know he was just doing his job and I don’t sleight him for that, but that is an insane policy. If you are traveling North along I-5, travel the extra hour and stay in Weed. There are plenty of similarly priced places there that won’t be so sketchy and scary.

Horrible and disgusting. Upon arrival at around 1:00 am Brandon was kind and gave us our keys to on our bedroom. We were in room 131 and as soon as we walked in I noticed the sheets with stains all over them. I lifted the sheets and found hair and crumbs. I took off the sheets and noticed the mattress had been burned. I tried calling Brandon but the phone was broken. Brandon showed up and we showed him the sheets. He offered another room and it was also full of hair and dirty. He said they normally don’t rent those rooms. He proceeded to show my husband another room and it was the same. I asked him for new sheets because we were exhausted from driving over 10 hrs. He brought new sheets but they were wet. I did my own housekeeping and changed the sheets and put the blankets on top to protect us from the cold wet sheets. By this time it’s approximately 2:00 am and we had to sleep to continue our trip the next day. The housekeeping supervisor showed up the next morning and apologized for the inconvenience. I spoke with her during checkout and let her know that no one should ever have to pay to stay in rooms with those horrible conditions. We just wanted a clean bed and a shower. She ask that I speak to manager Tiffany but she wasn’t available. Needless to say we will never stay at a Motel 6 again.

I stayed here because I had an appointment close by the next morning. When I ran the bath water it was full of rust and dirt. I talked to office management and they said will you stayed all night so you can only get $20 back. I told them that had I known the bath water was going to be so dirty I wouldn't have stayed there but they didn't care. I called corporate and they didn't care as well. Is Motel 6 that desperate that they can't refund the cost of the night stay or give me another night stay for free at a different location?? They said they were having plumbing problems. Since when is that my issue? I will never stay there again and what is sad is that I've been staying at Motel 6 since they first opened in the 1970s when the rooms were only $6 it's all about greed greed greed

I recently finished an extended stay at this local motel, and was genuinely impressed from start to finish. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but what really made the experience outstanding was the manager’s exceptional customer service. From the moment I arrived, the manager went above and beyond to make sure I felt welcomed and taken care of. She was friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful with every question I had. It’s rare these days to find someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, but her kindness and professionalism shined through in everything she did. Whether it was simply checking in to make sure that I had everything I needed, or simply greeting me with a smile, the manager made my stay feel personal and memorable. It’s clear she truly cares about her guests and takes pride in the motel. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay with top-notch service, this is the spot. The manager alone is worth five stars. I’ll definitely be returning!

Attempted to stay the night here last minute with our baby. We quickly changed our minds when the first room reeked of cigarette smoke. In the first room the toilet had urine and possibly poop stains in the front of the toilet as well. The second room had toilet paper stuck to the ground around the toilet like someone peed on the floor and it was sticky? Second room had a blood stain and dirty sheets/blankets. It also looked like there was a dried bed bug on the top of the sheets. At this point we were disgusted and thankfully the night guy gave us our money back. The staff were very attentive and kind but we just couldn’t get past the grossness of the rooms. We’re originally from Redding so location is good but always lock your car/door while staying.

We had a great experience at this place. A few weeks here and the service was great. Our room was cleaned every two to three days. Very professional and friendly service and genuinely understanding and patient. Kids friendly too. We had a great time and the people of Redding are actually very nice and welcoming. Will recommend this place, anytime.

We came here for a few days as we waited for our rental to be moved in ready, Great experience, housekeepers were amazing, attentive, & were always available. I believe this is the safest and cleanest motel 6 in our area. Very quiet, & also the staff here will not put up with any riff Raff.

The best thing about this motel is the Mexican restaurant it shares a parking lot with. That was damn good food, huge portions and great staff. The hotel the first night was fine other than the sirly night desk clerk, my reservation had a note check in would be between 12 and 1AM for me. The girl in the morning was much more pleasant. The room was clean, freshly updated and bed comfortable while being reasonably priced.
