We are currently on a road trip staying in 2-3 star hotels as we want the ease of parking by our room, and just don’t need a lot of frills. The Thunderbird Lodge has been our favorite so far! Thoughtful renovations with well done modern touches (plugs by the coffee machine, nice coat rack by the door, etc…) while still celebrating the Vintage charm! Walking distance to everything, fun area, and staff was great! Thank you for the best stay of our trip!

The room was beautifully furnished and exceptionally clean. The beds were so comfortable! It had everything a traveler could want or need. If I ever need to stay in the area again, I will definitely stay here.

Very happy with my stay here. It had ample and easy parking, was easy to find and is not far from I-5 but not right next to it - very quiet area! The gentleman who checked me in was incredibly friendly and helpful. Very clean rooms and very spacious. Shower had plenty of hot water and pressure and the bed was very comfortable. Under $100 I’ll be staying here any time I need to stop in Redding!

New Rooms. Very clean, bed was so comfortable fluffy pillows. Great customer service. The girl at the counter was so nice and had great attitude. Overall great stay!! We enjoyed our 3 nights very much.. I highly recommend.. Thank you!!

Just needed a place to stay for a night before catching the train and this place was perfect. Only a 10 minute walk to the train station and a great price. The room was clean and comfortable, they even provide a coffee pot and coffee. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends and I would definitely stay here again.

Love the new decor in my room! Very stylish! Room had it all! The location couldn’t be better, with a donut shop on one corner and a Mexican restaurant on the other. Right near I-5 and 299. Maybe some kind of hot dish like a pancake machine in the breakfast room would be nice.

I really appreciated the office associate. She was pleasant and knowledgeable. The motel is undergoing a remodel project and my room had a recent remodel. It was a very pleasant room with all necessary features and clean. The Continental breakfast was very basic but barely sufficient.

This was a great place to stay, very clean, and close to many places to eat nearby. The only downside was Am Track, ran all night, I think I counted 5 times. And several emergency vehicles during the night. Compared to the Confort Inn, which was a dump, Thunderbird Loge would be the place I would stay. The beds were very comfortable. I wish we had found it sooner

Clean, cute and safe. Rooms are so nice, location is fantastic, had zero issues with sketchy people, even when we walked to taco bell at 1am. This will now be my go to place when I stay in redding. Staff is great too!

The Thunderbird Ldoge is undergoing an remodel and the new rooms are great! New paint, beds, flooring and more. Jo at the front desk is a doll and very friendly and welcoming! The pool was very refreshing and clean. Breakfast could have had a little better selection, but it worked. Location is right downtown with shops and restaurants nearby. Close to the highways for easy in and out of town. Stay and enjoy!
