Generally when I stay here I have to change rooms at least once due to finding roaches, a room's AC unit not functioning properly, Missing amenities (shampoo dispenser, toilet paper roller, Shower curtain), filthy floors, Etc. The last time I stayed there in November for Thanksgiving 2025, I had apparently been double booked which I had no knowledge of until I had arrived. There was a technical issue with the website and it looked like the request did not go through the first time and I tried booking again. Apparently the business has a no refund policy regardless of explanation or circumstance leading to an error. I disputed the second charge with my bank because they refused to reverse the transaction but even they were unable to get it reversed in the end. In addition, there were at least 20 other rooms available and it would not have been a problem to reimburse me as it did not affect their ability to do business or their availability. Essentially, the business absolutely will not accommodate you and will happily take an extra $150 even though you did not utilize the roomed that was "booked". Beware, check your bank and check your bookings. You will likely not see your money again if there was an error, even if the error was technically their fault. And if you're looking for something similarly priced, La Quinta has better cleanliness and customer service for around the same price.

The room was not ready for check-in. I had to have an Employee come up and hook the TV up and then left me the wrong remote. They’ll definitely take your deposit when there’s nothing damaged. If you have pets do not take your animals here they will charge you for pet damage on a dirty room. The worst experience I had in four years and I go to a lot of hotels and motels for a weekend stays. I do not recommend this place to nobody. They wouldn’t give me the general manager‘s number and they were really rude

Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had! I rented two rooms for 4 guests; 3 from out of town and one local. I get to the hotel to check in and turns out they don’t allow locals to stay. Fine, we accepted that and decided my uncle would just stay in his RV for the night. We went to check in for our second room and they wouldn’t accept my uncles expired ID. The guy at the front desk with the lip piercing popped off with “no hotel is going to accept an expired ID” which is crazy because I’ve never had a hotel ask for every guests ID. I’ve only ever had to provide the ID of the person paying for the hotel. So we ended up paying for two rooms (because they refused to refund the second) but only used one room. The one room we were able to sleep in ended up having roaches!! So disgusting! I could barely sleep because of this and had to drive 6 hours home on 3 hours of sleep. Last but not least. I asked about parking for my uncles RV and the guy with the lip piercing at the front desk told us specifically where to park it. Come almost midnight I get a missed call from the hotel. I call back in the morning and they tell me we have to move the RV because it’s private property and the restaurant could have it towed. This hotel seems so unorganized and unethical. How can they keep my money for a room THEY REFUSED to let me use??

The hotel refused to accommodate me after I arrived, despite a confirmed and paid booking through Booking.com. At the front desk, I was told about an alleged policy stating that guests living within 50 miles are not allowed to stay. ? This policy was NOT disclosed on Booking.com or in the property rules prior to payment. As a result: • accommodation was not provided, • a refund was denied, • no alternatives were offered. I consider this a deceptive and unfair business practice. If such restrictions exist, they must be clearly disclosed BEFORE booking, not after the guest arrives. I do not recommend this hotel. Be careful — you may be left without accommodation and without your money.

I rented a room through Expedia. I even had Expedia call the hotel and verify that I would be able to stay, since I live the town. I was told yes. But when I went to check in, I was told by the guy at the desk that they wouldn't rent to me because I was a local and that if I did not leave immediately he would call the cops on me. I paid out almost $450 for that room, and they are refusing to refund me! DO NOT TRUST THIS MOTEL!! THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY, THEN MAKE YOU LEAVE, AND THREATEN YOU WITH THE COPS!

First off, we were just traveling through and needed a place to sleep. We had 5 people and a dog so finding a place with enough space for us that allows the dog and doesn't cost a fortune or require two rooms just to sleep is a challenge. Red Roof Redding has a room with three queen beds and allows one pet at no extra cost. Amazing. The person who checked us in (Marina I believe) was so kind and welcoming. Rooms were basic but very clean, have everything you need and the beds were really comfortable. They are extra cautious checking in guests so we felt very safe. If you are staying a little longer, the room had a little coffee maker, a fridge & microwave and there is a safeway right across the street. There is also a restaurant in the same parking lot - very convenient. The guy who checked us out was also very kind, sorry I didn't get his name but I was impressed with the kindness of everyone who worked there. We would DEFINITELY stay again.

The man in the front desk was very nice, location was good. But when we go to the room the TV didn’t work because the cord was two feet from the electrical outlet & no way to get the Tv closer so we tried moving the fridge over and found nasty sticky horrible mess under the fridge but even with moving furniture slightly the power cord to the TV was still at least a foot too short. We asked for an extension cord from the office, that took nearly an hour. I finally sat on the bed and hoping to relax turned on bedside lamp, NOPE! It did not work!!! Bed was comfy then next morning we tried to make coffee the coffee maker would not work. So I doubt we will stay here again. I hate leaving bad reviews but good grief! What a mess!

This was a very pleasant experience after flying all day to find such welcoming care. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with a large tv. Staff were pleasant and attentive to all our needs and questions. Lots of parking and a great restaurant attached. This is an A-plus space with considerate staff!

Office staff was nice. I was very disappointed in the room. All walls had paint chipped off the walls. The room was very ran down. The mattresses have a tone of hair. The toilet tank was even cracked. There was an extra door that led to the other room next door which ours was missing the door handle and if the room next door decided to open their side they could look through our door opening where the door handle should have been. Showers are extremely slippery. We Used the pool the first night and I slipped on the first step getting in due to the inside of the pool not having any grip it was slippery. Luckily the place is roach free.

The room was clean, the bed comfortable. We were able to take our dog. It was quiet, and there is a restaurant/bar in the parking lot. The intersection the hotel sits on can be a bit difficult, depending on where you need to go, and of course the attitude of other drivers. My only real complaint was the fridge. The ice box door was missing and it was literally full of frost. The food we had in the fridge itself froze.
