It was a pleasure staying here. The rooms were big and the bathroom was accommodating. I would recommend this for any one looking for a place to stay while traveling. I also liked that they had water, coffee, tea and granola bars available for guests at no additional cost.

This place is amazing! I have stayed in a lot of hotels all across the country and the value and service you get with this hotel is one of the best we have ever had! 6 of us stayed in a Triple family room with 3 beds. Alva checked us in at 2AM and he was so helpful and friendly! We spoke to the manager in the morning and she was so nice. They offered fresh coffee, snack and ice cold water to get us on our way the next morning.This is a pet friendly hotel and they have photos of all of their VIP pets who have stayed with them and a jar of biscuits to keep their tails wagging. 10 out of 10 stay and I don’t give that rating lightly!

I spent four nights at the Americana Modern Hotel and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The staff was super friendly, the room was large, clean, and comfortably. It was easy to get to, ample parking, and an easy walk to lots of restaurants. And they had snacks and coffee/tea/water (and dog biscuits) available at no charge. I will definitely be back!

So nice to have a room with three large beds since us three ladies were traveling together. Room was clean and comfortable. Sad that the propane was out so we unfortunately didn't get to spend as much time on the lovely patio, but these things happen. A couple of notes for the manager - would suggest adding a couple of mirrors - maybe one above the desk and one near the TV as this room can handle a lot of people and having the only mirror in the bathroom is less convenient. A shelf under the sink would be a nice touch also and maybe another art work picture or two but overall these were just nice to haves. The lobby area was cute and comfortable with lots of freebies including water, coffee, tea and snacks! The external style, colors and murals were inviting! The staff super friendly and helpful and it appears very dog friendly (we didn't bring a dog but might some day). We definitely would stay again and recommend to others. So close to lots of fun things to do and good places to eat downtown! Price for what we got was an amazing bargain!

This hotel exceeded our expectations! The front desk staff member was so kind and had amazing customer service skills. They had free water bottles and granola bars which was great! I have never been to a hotel that offered free water bottles. The rooms were clean and bed was comfortable with really soft sheets. We really enjoyed staying here. The atmosphere was quiet even though there were many guests we didn’t hear a thing! Th staff was very kind to our dogs and the dogs slept soundly through the night. Very relaxing environment and we appreciated the floors were wood. It felt very clean.

This place is an amazing value. The rooms are as good as any Marriott, Fairfield or whatever. The bathrooms are gorgeous and modern. The king size beds are enormous with four pillows each. It's decorated rather cutely on the inside in the courtyard and there's a little pup area in the back that's cutey decorated. The only strike against the place is that its location isn't as nice as some of the other hotels, but it's still quite close to things. It's just a bit more of a downtown type neighborhood. But we'd loved it and we'll definitely come here again when we pass through Redding.

The staff is incredibly friendly, and we appreciated how welcoming they were to dogs. Free and easy parking was wonderful. The rooms were adequate. The mattress was comfortable, however, the sheets were rough and bumpy. Overall, a good stay.

Wow! We are Airbnb hosts of three properties and we’re very impressed with this motel, even a couple ideas! We loved that they closed up the parking lot at night, except for the front entrance. Pet friendly so thankful for that. Our room had three beds and almost like a separate room. That was super convenient for people like us traveling with kids. When we arrived person working asked if we needed dinner recommendations….we didn’t but super helpful and nice. Room was very clean, slept well, and 2 tvs. Cons: pet area was small so not a huge area to walk around but still appreciated!

We flew into Redding for the weekend to see the Nutcracker performed by Redding City Ballet. Our stay was excellent at the Americana Modern Hotel! It's location downtown is near everything we wanted and needed. We wound up only driving our rental car from the airport to the hotel and back to the airport. We walked everywhere else for breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee, the theater and shopping. The room layout was great and worked perfectly for us. The staff is the best part of the stay. I've never stayed anywhere that was more consistently friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed every interaction with the staff here. Will definitely return for future trips to Redding!

We had a pleasant stay at Americana. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome right away. The hotel is in a fantastic location and we liked that we were just a short walk from downtown. The room we stayed in was quiet and comfortable. I would highly recommend Americana Modern Hotel to anyone visiting Redding.
